The sea unfolded like a ravenous fiend. How dare we defy it? Heavy clouds gathered around us, ready for their vengeful strike. Cold, bitter drops drops came to us from above as much as from below. Waves splashed every corner. We were soaked from head to heels. The deep, dark, icy air made us numb. The crew was loosing control, our bodies too slow, too weak to fight against the Storm.
Never had our hearts dueled against such a mighty Tempest. Despite the continuous barks of encouragement from the captain, the men felt insignificant and powerless. Expressions of doom shadowed their tense faces. Our boat flinched with every strike from our enemy: the Elements. We felt like slaves sold to an unmerciful master, vulnerable, stumbling at the edge fo our defenses. Yet none of us lacked determination. An intrepid energy inside our tenacity kept us undaunted. The captain arbitrated our every move; but our instincts were stronger and most decisions were made as blood rushed and threatened to break out of our pulses. We had to fight, we wanted to fight. We had to dwell amidst the penetrating chill of wind and water, gust and splash. The promise of serenity vibrated inside our veins. Our hoping candles flickered. Would the glade and the flood extinguish their blaze?
The riot went on, past the hours of twilight. Many had drowned, their stuggling breaths wiped away, swallowed by an unforgiving sea. The sun shone smiles as some of us greeted the ethereal success of morning. Our flawling bodies were heavy with exhaustment, but out faulting hearts were heavier with sorrow. The battle had been ruthless, but surviving it would be worse. We would now be forever scarred and cursed as debris. Our minds were doomed before the tormenting sight of damp hands slipping away into the hungry mouth of the Tempest. Daylight brought not peace, it only uncovered the chaos neglected under the unyielding storm. Lives had vanished, like sugarcubes melted away by the rain.

Una historia algo triste pero es lo que sucede frente a un mundo cruel.
